Fan ideas that piss you off

Who the hell suggested guns?

I have occasionally seen people suggest TES should be a sci fi game just because the Dwemer had some cool steampunk stuff.

Well I have SO many things to post in this thread that I'll have to wait a bit. The list is enormous.

Multiplayer

Other than that, I can't say it tees me off, but I roll my eyes and/or shudder at a lot of the stuff on the Nexus.

Marrying Lydia before, marrying Serana now.

Marriage in a video game is so stupid unless it's actually part of the story.

Any demands for marriage or child adoption is creepy. This is not the Sims, go kill stuff.

It may be useless, but its harmless. It doesn't piss me off that much.

Last year, we had this user who used to make 10 threads per week requesting Dwemer guns. S#!¨ was jokes.

Still, the resources put into marriage could have been put to things like fixing bugs and glitches.

Mustard? PLEASE SAY MUSTARD.
This was funny.

These types of people should play the game on PC: that's what mods are for. I have no issue with people wanting their characters (or NPCs) to go around with armor that would barely add up to a scarf, material-wise, as long as I can keep my game relatively lore-friendly (and wear armor that's going to protect more than my collar-bones).
While I don't care for a lot of the mods. I am very thankful for the ones that are out there. I will always have the choice to not.

Still, there are a ton of off-the-wall suggestions that humorous and even down right misplaced. But it doesn't directly affect my game go I just try to overlook them....as I stop to look them over and go...wtf?

The thing is, it probably only took a day of programing and another day of voiceovers.

Well, the only thing I can think of that might work is if they added the arena from oblivion again, if they had the option of either fighting an npc like normal, or fighting split screen or online with someone, that might work.

Aye, death would be a tricky concept to manage with proper full blooded 2 player co-op.

The only way round it that I could think of was if one character loses their health, they become 'incapacitated' until combat is resolved one way or the other - their mate survives, they can be revived, their mate borks it, they both die and the session ends.

It's not that far fetched, really. As there is already gunpowder and cannons on Nirn.

It doesn't piss me off either. I was just responding in the spirit of the thread. I think it's absurd to care, even a tiny little bit, about being married in a video game.

Also, new races. I literally pull my hair off when I see people saying "We want more races bethesda, please I hope you guys fix this"

So much rage.

Akavir DLC... I mean, really? An entirely unexplored continent crammed into a DLC? What are they smoking and where can I find some...

This. If it's going to be Akavir, it's going to need it's own game or game series.

Fable's marriage system was alright, but at the same time completely useless.

Unless the spouse is going to do something useful ingame, I agree.
Fable was good because you could lead them to the Wheel of Misfortune...I loved that thing...

I also think if it was Akavir, it would need it's own game before another game actually on akavir, just so Bethesda can tell us a little more about it in the next game so it won't look completely strange and out of place

Any kind of multiplayer.
New playable races.
Entire provinces as DLC.
Becoming High King.
Mods for consoles (seriously, it will be a cold day in hell before Microsoft or Sony allow free content for download)

The idea of an entire game dedicated to dealing with the Thalmor = automatic skip for me. They don't come off as good enough material to pull an entire game, and I'm already bored/tired of what little I've seen of them.
