Farkas Has Completely Disappeared

Post » Tue May 22, 2012 9:25 pm

So I finally managed to get Farkas to give me his personal quest to cure him of lycanthropy. However, only after several hours of leveling up my Smithing skill did I notice that he is now no longer to be found anywhere. He's not in our home in Whiterun (where we live), he's not in my other homes in Riften or Markarth, he's not in Ygsamor's tomb, he's not in Jorvrvaskr (sp?), he's not anywhere. Does anyone know of a console command or somesuch to summon him to my location or something similar?

NPCs tend to take some time to travel, so if you just married him and haven't seen him since you may have to wait a day or two. I'd try sleeping (you are leveling after all) 24 hours in the house he should be at (try around 1am when they should be sleeping at home). If he doesn't show up after two days, try the console commands.

Words cannot fully express my gratitude for your assistance in this matter, but I shall try.

Skyrim, although fun, is quite buggy
and can sometimes run slow and sluggy.
But your help here today
makes me cheer in a way
that makes me feel all kiss-and-huggy.

Thank you!

Thanks, I did, in fact, try sleeping and waiting for several days just to see if he was lagging behind but no dice. :(

When I moved Farkas to the Solitude house he got all crabby and won't talk to my character unless I activate him. He still gives my character her half of the money and bakes her a pie, but instead of saying 'Hello, Dear' He yells 'HEY!!' and doesn't even look in her direction when he passes by her. Wonder what she did to make him so peeved at her! Funny stuff for sure.
