Hello, I did a quest called "Trouble in skyrim" for the companions, Farkas told me to kill the bandits in some dungeon. I did it and came back to jorrvaskr to finish the quest and claim my reward.

BUT he won't give me any reward, and when I want to continue with another quest for the companions I ask someone if they got work for me, they just say something like: Aren't you already doing a job for farkas? Talk to me when that is done.

The quest is in the "finished quest" part of the journal so i don't know what to do, and I don't have any previous saves. My last save is right before I'm about to talk to farkas to claim the reward.

Any ideas?

i think we're both looking for the same solution, if somebody helps me out in this topic then i think you can use the same solution

Lesson learned; keep a few saves around just in case something goes wrong. Best thing to do is make a save before accepting any Companions quests as they seem to glitch out frequently.

Try this console command: completequest CR05

@Ruby, you'd need to find the Quest ID of whichever quest you're on. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Companions#Quests.
