I was in Whiterun for whatever reason and Farkas came up on me outta nowhere and just started talking to me. I left the conversation but he did it again. I couldn't make it even a few steps without him talking to me. now every time i'm in whiterun i can't move around or do anything because he won't stop. Any ideas?

Hes bugged out, but good news is you can fix this. You have a bounty and hes acting like a guard for some reason, just approach a guard and pay off your bounty and it should be fixed.

Well...i didn't have a bounty turns out. and he still won't shut up. Wish I could kill him.

This could be a long shot but see if you have any bounty on all the town you visited.

Same thing is happening to me with Vilkus.... I tried getting a bounty in whiterun and paying it off but that did not fix it for me either. It svcks because he is literally chasing me across skyrim and I can't fast travel because it counts as a guard pursuing me.

lol wow. He really likes you guys! Well you could try turning off and resarting from your last save. It fixed a bug that was a quest stopper for me. Good luck. No Farkus NO. Down Boy Down!! lol
