Fatalities?

Post » Mon Feb 18, 2013 2:39 am

I know it was said a while back that they were going to add this into the game like they did in skyrim. My question is, does it still hold ground? And if so how would this affect PVP in the sense that if you’re having a heated battle with some dude now you went into the animation of killing him would you be able to get targeted by someone else and give them an unfair advantage?

If they have it in PvP, I'm sure you would not be interactable during the cut scene. When you come out, you could get tagged the same way as if you made a regular kill so get ready to be ganked by the soulless bastards when you're in recovery mode.

Should only be in pve, has no place in pvp as it could mess players up... don't really need it in the game at all IMO.

suggest ; fatalities always happens in duels, sometimes during pve session.
And of course never during pvp battles including more than 2 players

btw ; this would be so nice to see it during some arena 1v1 if it will be implanted.

They had these in Age of Conan, and they worked fine. Most of the animations were short enough. In PvP, the player who was performing the fatailty would become invulnerable to attack while it played out. As soon as it was over they took damage again. It really was a rewarding feature and I would fully support a similar system in this game. Here's to hoping.
