Fatigue Damage

I've been looking at creating another Unarmed character (with explosives as a secondary) and was looking at unarmed weapons and saw the Boxing Gloves.

Now to my mind knocking enemies unconscious and then butchering their bodies sounds easy and fun, my question is is Fatigue damage actually worth using from a combat viewpoint, compared to lethal damage weapons?

Actually, Unarmed is so lethal I don't think there is much of a difference unless you are fighting Aplah/Mother/Legendary Deathclaw.......

Spoiler
If you're doing the quests inside the Ultra-Luxe, and you don't have a high enough sneak skill to get a holdout weapon in... the cattle rancher gives you a cattle prod to use (or else I found one somewhere inside). The effect on it is that 2-4 hits (even with hardly any unarmed skill) means your enemy is lying at your feet.

So yes... it works rather well in a pinch. Still not my preference. I prefer guns or EW combined with explosives. I like to keep my foes at max range.
