Just that on contrary to my fellow swedes I don't hold any ancient grudge over the danish and have nothing against them.
No you're exactly right, it's a Scotland vs England thing.
Comparing yourselves (Sweden) to us English doesn't really make sense to be honest..
We conquered the Scots, took everything they had and then ruled over them for centuries.
Making them fight for us on several occasions while we practically conquered the world.
It tends to instill deep resentment.

Edit, like mr Elmo here I too find myself in a similar situation, my mothers family have a fairly famous scottish name while my fathers name (the one I have) is unmistakingly Irish.
I was born and bred English though..
I think thats why I'm such a complicated individual.
