Favorite Book in Cyrodiil

Post » Tue Sep 22, 2009 2:37 am

Not trying to commit thread necromancy, but I would have started a new book thread if I didn't find this.

I just finished reading The Real Barenziah Volumes 1-5. It was very good and I think I will read Biography of Queen Barenziah just for the sake of comparison. I have also read The Armorer's Challenge, and The Gold Ribbon of Merit. I recently started reading the books in Oblivion and have really enjoyed them. Can anyone recommend anything to read if I want to hear more about Barenziah or her children?

I ~think~ that Barenziah's son is featured in a book called "A Game at Dinner", or something like that.

I agree, The Real Barenziah is probably my favorite series of books in the game.
Spoiler
When Symmachus died, I about cried - he was my favorite character there. = (

To name a few, in no particular order:

Chance's Folly
Hallgerd's Tale
Silence
Ice and Chiton

Of course, its quite likely that a some of these books aren't actually in TES IV.

Oblivion: The Lusty Argonian Maid

Is the book selection in Oblivion so terrible you didn't choose that for Morrowind? <_<

The Real Barenziah.

I laughed so hard when I found out that the Temple of Tribunal is powerful enough to censor books in Cyrodiil.

If the books were published in Morrowind (likely, seeing that the author is in Mournhold), then they'd be able to censor it. The censored version would later be shipped to Cyrodiil.

On topic, my favorite is The Ravings of Fenroy. The line "He touches me when I'm not looking" was so creepy and insane that it actually gave me shivers when I read it.

Begger Prince and The Four Suiters of Benitah were interesting. The Locked Room was probably one of the best books in-game that I have read.

Hallgerd's Tale, 2920, Poison Song, and one of my earliest favorites, Feyfolken.

The whole crazy quill/pen was a brilliant idea.
