Wait a second are you saying you don't have prawn cocktail in Massachusettes
I've never seen it. I've seen random stuff like Pickle and BBQ, but never Prawn Cocktail.

Metal note to self.

*Never go to Massachusettes.... or indeed any place without prawn crips*

I like your singanture, althought it's bit if a paradox :bonk:

I'm not a big fan of crisps to be honest but if I'd have to choose I'd probably pick Lay's Original (Salted) :)

My favourite are the "Kartanon perunalastut" (original taste). Absolutely amazing, probably only available in Finland. (not sure though)

If it's basically one of those 'Lays/Pringles original flavour' things, we have those here in the US as well. They taste very rich, but I enjoy the maschism of eating handfuls of S&V crisps.

I don't eat much potato chips, but there's a norwegian brand that maked delicous chips with cheese & onion flavour. (Maarud Ost og L?k for the norwegians on this board)
Those are good, I personally like anything that S?rlandschips make.

That's the best part man.

Exactly what I was going to say. :D

I'm not a big lover of crisps generally but quite like beef Monster Munch. Or the Sun Bite things you get. Yummers.

It would have to be Cape Cod kettle cooked, with homemade sour cream and green onion dip. The powder on the flavored ones tastes metallic.
I haven't had chips in ages, and now this thread has made me hungry.

I am absolutely gobsmacked that Salt & Vinegar is so popular, no one I know likes them so I thought I was alone in thinking it was my fav.

Salt and Vinegar is one of my least favourites. I'll have them at the pub if there's nothing else, but that's about it. Cheese and onion is probably my favourite flavour.

I enjoy vinegar when used as an ingredient (in fact, I use it rather often), but to simply "use" it as a food or a flavor of its own is just bizarre.

No, thing is, the chips have only salt as a flavour. That's why I called it original :D They have all sorts of random crap versions of the "Kartanon perunalastut" (Kartanon = the estates/mansions) (peruna lastut = potatoe chips).
