It's like they cherry picked all the worst songs from 3. Civilization is racist as hell.

You know, these are all great 'driving songs' you can play in the car when rolling out on an adventure.
I played some for my friends, and I could see them bopping to the tunes (in my mirror) heheh...
Although I doubt they would even listen if I played on home hi-fi.
They much prefer their own godless, soulless syntha-pop garbage.

My favorite song - if I had to pick one? Just one?
Gotta be Personality by Johnny Mercer and the Pied Pipers.
I LOVE the old girl-group harmonies, the singing. Love the legendary Andrews Sisters too. :)

And kudos to Dion for his great song The Wanderer, which still holds up today!
EDIT: Also, you have forgotten Orange Colored Sky (Nat King Cole) on your list...

My #1 Anything Goes--incredibly relevant even today.

#2 The End Of The Workd--beautiful voice

#3 60 Minute Man--fun song

#4 The Wanderer--same as #3

Songs that annoy me:

#1 Civilization--would be ok without the asinine bingo bango crap

#2 Mighty, Mighty Man--just irks me for some reason. I guess because it's about some dude going on about how great he his. This dude was Kanye before it was cool.

The Tex Beneke and Betty Hutton songs inspired me to check out YouTube which led me to Tex with the Glenn Miller band and Marion Hutton, Betty's older sister. Lots of great songs. I find the Betty Hutton tunes grab my attention every time. The Congo tune wins for sticking in my mind.
