Favorite takeout?

What's your favorite takeout for a night inside with some gaming/TV/movies?

I like pizza, wings, and Chinese. A nice large pizza pie, order of wings, and for Chinese some sweet and sour chicken with fried rice.

Hmm, I just get takeout for actual meals (I don't tend to game/TV with food beyond a soda or water. Chips, sometimes).

But anyway - favorite takeout is a toss-up between pepperoni pizza & General Tso's Chicken.

Pizza and Chinese. Chinese is more of a treat due to the fact that me and my mom will only eat at one Chinese restaurant. We haven't been to the local one in years because the food was awful last time we went.

I do not eat while gaming anymore because I prefer eating at my desk and reading/watching things on my computer. I usually get pizza if my mom is too tired to cook. She won't trust me with the stove yet and, quite frankly, probably for the best that I don't try to use the thing yet. Kale seems like an amazing gaming snack, by the way. If you've never had it raw, highly recommend it. It tastes amazing and has no residue at all. The ultimate gaming snack. Too bad I read eating too much raw kale is a bad idea. Rather not risk that since I am prone to being ill often.

Still, try that stuff out if you find cheetos to be too messy.

I rarely get takeaways, but if I do it's usually a curry. And usually the only reason I get them is because I can't be bothered to cook anything.

Our local Indian has quite a monopoly on our fast food deliveries. I usually get the same stuff: lamb phaal, keema samosa, mixed tandoori stuff and share some fried rice with my gf.

I don't know how people manage to eat a phaal without suffering severe burns :D I tried once, but I was defeated.

I like the taste of them: my stomach is less keen, however, and I'm often woken up at 2am with stomach cramps. It's kinda worth it, though.

Chinese is more of a treat than Pizza. Usually go for Mongolian Beef, Green Bean Chicken, rice and egg rolls. Had to lay off the hot mustard lately - been upsetting my stomach. Used to love the way it shot up through my nose and made my eyes water. :D

I would love to have any delivery available at all but then that would mean more people so...no deliveries to my home. But if I could ask for any kind to be available I would ask for Thai food.

Having privacy, peace and quiet way out in the country is often worth more than convenience.

Inskender Kebap for teh win.

Pizza and hamburgers work fine.

Chinese is good.

Indian is good too.

Asian food overall is pretty good, actually. Heck even sushi goes.

Come to think of it I'll eat practically anything. There's so many things I like. But my go-to food is iskender kebab when I choose to eat out and for a little more € involved.

Well. I strongly dislike Chinese personally so that is definably a no for me... I'm more of an Italian guy so I would have to say Pizza.

Cheesesteaks. And not the cheap ones that most know of (Pat's and Geno's), I'm talking about the real ones that you can only get from a quality business that takes a bit of time to make them right.

At first I thought you said "Cheesesticks" which could be either breadsticks with cheese on/in them or mozzarella sticks...

Never heard of Cheesesteaks though.

I'm guessing that common access to Indian food & curry (both shops & takeout/delivery) is an England thing. Sure, I could find an Indian restaurant around here somewhere, but not very commonly.

depends on how much I am willing to spend on the day in question..

either Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls, with a side of rice drenched in Honey Garlic Sauce
a Schnitzel from a nearby German Restaurant
a Buffalo Burger with a Side of Poutine
a 3 topping Pizza
or a couple Donairs

It's also known as a Philly Cheese-steak sandwich.

Essentially a fresh hoagie roll (Amaroso is the local preferred brand) is used to collect a freshly grilled finely chopped ribeye steak (and when I mean fine, really fine...next step up would be ground meat), melt on some provolone (or your preference, though provolone is traditional) and then whatever else you want: sauted onions, peppers, mushrooms, pickles....whatever you can think of. Some people like it topped off with some sauce.

You can also substitute ribeye steak with chicken steak....

Of all local cuisines I would miss if I left this area, cheesesteaks are #1. There are places that claim to make them, but they are only meant for non-Philadelphians who haven't had a real one.

Curry or Chinese

Why order a pizza, they're easy to make anyway?
