Hi everyone,


I know this question has already been posted, but it really ruins my game experience...
Is there any way to assign a weapon to the left hand, using a shortcut?


For example:

You are a dual wielder, using 2 different weapons.
Let's say weapon 1 is linked to shortcut "1" and weapon 2 to shortcut "2".
If I use a spell, the left weapon will go to my inventory (normal), BUT if I click on shortcut 2, my character will continue to use the spell and change his weapon n°1 with the n°2.


I've read that if I've got 2 weapons n°1, I can double tap the short 1, then use shortcut 2.
But this tip doesn't work if you smithed the weapons 1, even if they have the same names and caracteristics (the game won't stack them anymore).


I've also read that binding a weapon with shift + hotkey sets it as a left hand weapon.
Can't make this work...tried during 1 hour all keyboard combinations, nothing.


Is there a way, any way to solve this problem?
A mod? A config file? An exe? An incantation?


Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

Yes this is a major issue for me too. Switching beetwen dual sets of weapons and spells during fight is a pain in the ass.

Its not much fun is it?
I mean dealing with UI issues like this.

it is as if nobody tested this with a focus group of mroe than 2 people and they were console players who were very easy to please.

I am expecting fixes for this for sure, but not from Bethesda. From the mod community. We can only hope the tool kit
will allow sufficient access to this aspect of the game for appropriate alterations.

At this stage one has to just be patient and wait, and by that I mean most likely until late December. It all depends on how
soon that tool kit arrives.
