I had this problem for an hour and couldnt find any help on it. If you simple return the controls back to default ti will work again. I think its when you overwrite a current control. Just take it one control at a time worked for me.

also why is lmb the control for the right weapon by default? lol wtf

and the control that broke favorites for me was changing view button from F to M3.
