Who is your favourite video game character of all time? It can be a protagonist, such as Mario, or even a side-character: any character at all.

For me, it has to be Vaas from Far Cry 3. Some masterful voice acting and writing for that character. The "definition of insanity" speech was...just...wow.

Well for me it'd be the Sloth demons from the Dragon Age series, which are more or less the same character.

Caleb from the monolith 3d shooter BLOOD. He gets the job done like Sonny Chiba ripping someone's spleen out with his bare hands.

The King Of Worms especially the TES 2 DAGGERFALL version. A master tactician.

That's a tough one.

Though I think my favorite character would be...

Nanaki, aka Red XIII from Final Fantasy 7. Theme song, history, fighting styles, epilogue...just one of the coolest creatures ever.

Lena Brande From Super Valis IV.

I'm going to try and narrow this down, as I can't just pick one.

My three favourite video game franchises are Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and The Elder Scrolls.

Out of those three series, I can say that my favourite Final Fantasy game is either FFV or FFIX, my favourite Kingdom Hearts game is KHII, and my favourite Elder Scrolls game is either Oblivion or Skyrim (both are too good to rate one above the other).

Using these characters, I can say that my two favourite characters from FFIX would be Vivi and Freya, my two favourite characters from FFV are Bartz and Galuf, my two favourite Kingdom Hearts characters are Zexion and Riku, my two favourite Oblivion characters are Uriel Septim VII and Owyn, and my two favourite Skyrim characters are Ri'saad and General Tullius.

So, really it's a contest between these ten characters. Oh, and I like Daxter from the Jak and Daxter franchise. Funny character. If I can narrow down those eleven, I'll post again.

Hard to pick just one favourite.

For me it's a toss up between all of them, but these are my top favourite characters.

Duke Nukem - He's Duke Nukem.

Jon Irenicus - Antagonist of Bauldur's gate 2, awesome character and great voice acting

Kain - Protagonist and Antagonist from Legacy of Kain series, awesome character development in the first game, love all the monologues and great voice acting.

Magus - Antagonist/Protagonist from Chrono Trigger, great character development from Janus to Magus, and just overall 'cool'.

Zidane - Favourite character from any Final Fantasy, instead of your stereotypical emo-hero [censored] which is common of main characters from final fantasy games, Zidane is your sleazy thief character with great attitude and always made me laugh throughout the game, just an overall great character in my opinion.

Big Boss - Metal Gear Solid antagonist/protagonist, love his character development in mgs3 and he seems to have more depth to his character then solid snake does.

It's kind of up in the air right now between Britney Spears in Britney's Dance Beat and The Mask from Splatterhouse 2.

Can't really narrow it down to one.
