I fear that the players cried out for Multiplayer and the makers heard MMO. What I always wanted from the elder scrolls games (THE ONLY THING THEY DIDN'T ALREADY GIVE ME) is the ability to play with my friends just to battle, explore and run a dungeon with them. I feel the best way of facilitating this desire would have been in the form of LAN or a similar online hosted private game style to Diablo 3 or Boarder lands where I can invite friends to jump into my world. I didn't want to lose the sand box feel, the ability to explore the wilderness, amazing prop physics and interaction and the immersion elements just not possible when there a a billion naked gnomes with purple Mohawks (or the equivalent level of trolls) running around being idiots. I hope that this game does not replace or prevent further titles being made in the style that the series has been in so far and I REALLY hope that Bethesda add a more intimate multiplier system (no mmo) to the current games (maby DLC or expansion pack for skyrim) or the next title made in their style (If there is one and elder scrolls hasten sold out to the mmo thing forever more). I'm not altogether against the MMO if its target audience is people who LOVE the lore and want to experience more of that and it is intended as a stand alone thing not an replacement to the current format. Thoughts?
