Features not shown in trailer?

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 4:41 pm

What kind of features do you think/hope there will be in Hearthfire that were not shown in the video?

There will be features that weren't shown in the video, right? .... right?

i'm sure there's loads of stuff they didn't show, no need to give everything away before it's released.

They need to show more than they did if they want people to actually be excited over the DLC. Building houses and having a "Fake Family" doesn't inspire me too much and so far that is all I have seen.

Here are some things that I would like Bethesda to add with this DLC.

-More child races. Even though I will most likely not be adopting, it would be nice to see more races for children.
-More marriage options, including race genders that are not marriable.
-More meaningful marriage because at it's current state I do not use the feature.
-Permanent pets.
-Dwemer architecture and furnishings. Plans would be found in Dwemer ruins.
-Buildable Atronach Forge for your home if you complete some sort of quest for the Mage's College.
-Forge that can craft ancient Nord equipment and crossbows if the required quests are completed.
-More Totem of Hircine radiant quests so that you can get the totems for your house too.
-A quest for the Volkihar Vampires to make a duplicate of the bloodstone chalice and take it home for the buff.
-Buildable shrine of Nocturnal after becoming a Nightingale.

I'm hoping for a fully stocked dungeon complete with a dominatrix or at the very least an orgy room with plastic covered furniture.

Doubt there is much they haven't shown. Don't get your hopes up too high.

Remember, it's only 5 bucks. We're not going to be cashing in on this one.

-More child races. Yes. Especially Dunmer and Argonian.
-More marriage options, including race genders that are not marriable. That would be nice, but there's 20 combinations. Might be too much to hope for.
-More meaningful marriage because at it's current state I do not use the feature. Define meaningful.
-Permanent pets. They'll be there, I think.
-Dwemer architecture and furnishings. I'd like a few architectural options too. We can hope.
-Buildable Atronach Forge for your home if you complete some sort of quest for the Mage's College. No opinion, since I choose not to do Conjuration.
-Forge that can craft ancient Nord equipment and crossbows if the required quests are completed. Not sure why you'd want to make cheap crap like that. But crossbows, yes.
-More Totem of Hircine radiant quests so that you can get the totems for your house too. No opinion, since I'm not into lycanthropy either.
-Buildable shrine of Nocturnal after becoming a Nightingale. I admit that would make a certain amnount of sense.

It's called the Skyforge in windhelm. -.- if you can't make Crossbows there then only place is Dawnguard

But Skyforge has Ancient Nord

Extremely little to nothing. At least this is my guess judging by the price. I'm sure these kind of things show everything they have with a trailer.

We'll have to see. When Bethesda released the DG trailer they only had that bit with Harkon and a few other things.
You never know what they have added that wasn't in the trailer.

Personally I'm not getting too expectant as its going to be a small dlc if its only 5 bucks.

More races? Well, once you get it, just check out the Riften Orphanage to instantly find out.

Does that mean we can have a pet Dragon?

I actually really liked how you could only craft ancient Nord stuff at the Skyforge. It made the location special.

I'm hoping for a fully stocked dungeon complete with a dominatrix or at the very least an orgy room with plastic covered furniture.

This.

I thought it was just a fish hatchery. I figured you would just access it like a container, if actual fishing is in the game I would love it. Honestly, i think this DLC is awesome. Part of me is more excited about this than dawnguard. I just love the roleplaying options it opens up. even something like just building a garden of just mountain flowers because your character is a specialist on the different types of them, or just have mushrooms because your character is a Mycologist. If your character is a hunter, having only trophies of animals that could be considered game. I love little things like that. I can't wait til tuesday, might have to pull an all nighter just to get it as soon as it comes out, of course I am gonna have to sleep as much as I can until then to make it seem like it comes out sooner, haha! Im so excited!

I thought the fish hatchery would be much more epic than it turned out to be.
