- Filter options I've chosen, does not save. It's painful to have to change them every time I look for a server.
- Classes don't save. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with me jumping back and forth from ranked to unranked matches, but if I make a custom class, I expect it to be the same loadout as the last time I played.
- Ranked servers. Most of them won't start. Instead thousands of gamers are sitting waiting for a countdown, and when it finally comes, it stops at "1". And there we sit once again.
- I had no idea what the different game modes were, suddenly I found myself in my first game without a nanosuit, just a regular soldier. At first I wondered why cloak and armor didn't seem to work. I thought "oooh I'll upgrade to the nanosuit later then." But I was appearantly wrong.
AKA people need more detailed explenation than just a title bar when searching for servers. Maybe a describing image of what the game modes are.
- Vehicles: Crysis Wars was actually sort of a competitor to Battlefield with respect to the vehicles. Think about that for a second. What it could have been. Now look at Crysis 2.
I know, it stings a little, right?
And here something about the game in general:
Singleplayer: Sometimes after I die and load a savegame, stealth kill from behind doesn't work. No "V to stealth kill" option appears, and you end up gun butting someone in the back, and they turn around and kill you AKA not stealth.
Picking up items: Why? Or better yet, why just some objects and not all? Do I really need to pick up a bag of toxic waste?...or a cannon ball?
Kicking: I want to KICK PEOPLE! EVERYONE DOES!
Jumping: I'm having a problem with jumping over a bush to stealth kill a guy, but end up fricking LAUNCHING and landing on top of him. Funny, but not cool.
Settings: You didn't seriously expect people to accept 3 different settings right? They've already made graphic settings software for the game. Many will download them. And softwares like that have no guarantee that it won't hurt anyone's system. And they will all come bithing where? Right here!
DirectX11: You know what I want to say, and you're not answering us why it didn't come at launch, so we will make our own conclusions. My conclusion is consoles. You didn't want the game to look ten times better on PC at launch so you could make more money also selling it for consoles. It's a strategy, that probably worked.
But just know, that was a real douchebag move.
I just about started playing the SP campaign, I like it so far, but I'm not as BLOWN AWAY as I thought I'd be.
(Not done yet btw, so I might change my mind about the story)
That goes for everything, the story and graphics. I run EXTREME settings smooth btw.
And another thing, that push F to watch some scripted building or explosion and slowing down the player destroys the fun. Because you know the second that comes up on screen that something is going to happen. It's like spoiling a scene of a movie without necessarily saying what is going to happen. You know, suspense? surprises? all that.
And would it really be such a pain in the neck to actually make the transition from an ingame cinematic through the players eyes and into your control without making that little "I just landed"jump-animation?
I like the hard setting, not going for the most difficult yet, because that will give me another playthrough. But it's pretty challenging. *applauding while ignoring the man that tripped off the stage, as in some AI issues*
So yeah, guess it's back to Crysis 2 then, thanks.
