I feel Bethesda missed a great animal hunting opportunity in

Why are there no animal hunting quests? Why are pelts not used for a little more rather than a single use for crafting, maybe some kind of bargening currency in place of usual gold that you could trade to hunters for their finds.
How about a hunting guild of some sort? Like the bards college, not a major one like the mages guild but just another few side quests with unique, magical animals. Hunt them and craft rare armor.

Heres an idea, a quest could have been included in Heathfire, you go hunting with your adopted child, or your spouse. Todd Howard talked about how they obsess over the little details. What about this? Its a snowy, gritty 'kill your own food' kind of place for god sakes.

I feel Bethesda missed a great opportunity to include more roleplaying aspects surrounding hunting. It could have been another incredible little sidequest, or minigame. A few little AI tweaks, who knows it could have been a whole new thing.

The questline Froki gives kind of count.

Morrowind was more fierce than Skyrims landscape lol, i remember it took forever to kill anything in that game. But i do agree adding some type of hunting guild or making more options for hunting would be nice.

New Vegas had you hunt down the eggs of some of the most powerful creatures from Cazadores to Deathclaws. Could have had a radiant unique variant of every creature in-game that you had to collect its fur and could make unique armor or weapons from their antlers, bones and/or fur. Someone mod this in yet? Lol

Ever since i played AC3s hunting part, i feel Skyrim missed such a huge opportunity.
