I ran through Dawnguard as a Vampire Hunter and was very, very pleased with it. It was a good, meaty piece of DLC that added a lot of interesting new elements and some fascinating enemy encounters. I feel like Touching The Sky is one of the best quests in the game, this epic length thing that has you crawl through a MONSTER of a dungeon and go to a completely new world while revealing new stuff about the Falmer. There's so much going on there that I just love.
Yet...
People downplay Dawnguard all the time. I've heard people say it's short, that it's a tiny piece of DLC, that they were disappointed with it's length. All this stuff. The overall community narrative on Dawnguard is that it's "small". At least, that's my feeling.
So I ask you guys: Am I right in this? Do you feel that's what people think of Dawnguard? Do YOU think that of Dawnguard? If so, why or why not?
