I'm stuck with my only unfinished side-quest being Finding Feltrite, and I'm at the end of the game. I've searched a lot online and found many references to the Feltrite Meteor Showers and Tempest early on in the game as good sources of Feltrite, but I've long passed those and still need many more. Do those types of Feltrite Showers recur after their initial, scripted incarnations? Do they happen in the Eastern Wasteland?

I'm getting the feeling that the amount of Feltrite is fixed in the game, and that I'm out of luck for alternate sources after I've sold too much.

Did you encounter any Feltrite showers at all? As far as I know there are two big showers and they both occur in the 1st Wasteland (1st disk). One happens on the road that passes by the Northern Outpost ,above Kvasir's chasm, as you're heading towards the Authority Prison . . . The second shower occurs in the big open sandy desert area between Hagars and Wellspring (same area where you jumped over and into the crater to get an air drone). You can easily harvest 7 or 8 from each shower. Hope you didn't sell all of the ones you've had. I think I still recovered another 3 or 4 in various places on disk2. You can go back to the first map by airship from the Resistance base under Wellspring. If that sidejob is still active and you never saw those showers you should go back there and try to do them . . . it was fun trying to blow up and beat out the enemy vehicles who will steal them if you don't get to them first . . . so save right b4 a shower.

Yes, I've already completed those scripted showers. I have completed ALL side quests except for Finding Feltrite.

Everything I have read indicates that those showers are scripted to happen on the way to specific missions, but I can find no reference to them happening again.

I'm thinking those scripted Feltrite showers won't happen again once they've activated in the game. If you sold off that Feltrite, since you didn't know about the sidequest from Jacob in the Second Chance Bar in Wellspring, and then got the quest later there's probably no way to still accumulate 20 crystals. You'd have to play the game over again probably to get that achievement . . . unless you have an old save in the game that you can go back to - prior to the showers - then you could go to the bar, get the sidequest, go do the missions that trigger the Feltrite showers. One was going to the ark you emerged from and getting your profile disk - then on the way back the shower starts.

Didn't read the whole thread, but yea - after I completed that side-quest, there has been another Feltrite shower sometime later in another place.
