Female voice type for vender of inn food (other than nord, s

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 11:06 pm

Hulda uses Nord Female voice
Saadia uses Female Sultry.

I need a third female vanilla voice type that will sell food and voice the line ("that depends, are you hungry, thirsty, both?") in an inn.

I know Eager Young Female and Female Commoner do not voice the line.

Does anyone know what other voices do?

Thanks!

In the Dialogue Quest (in Miscellaneous Quests, I think) find that line you are interested in (it might appear more than once, but it shouldn't ... but check to make sure).

Check the conditions of the line. It should be applicable to a list of voices. It is very likely those voices listed are the only ones that can say that line.

(Note not all lines are conditioned for voices ... if you are unlucky and this line is not - some are restricted to certain characters, or races and wotnot, instead - then only trial and error will find applicable voices, I think)

I think you are right, h4vent. I looked there and the conditional is blank - meaning all actor voices can say it (not restricted).
However, that is not the same as meaning all voices recorded that track : (
I went to every tavern in the CK - seems like shrill female, nord and sultry are the only NPC actors that Bethesda gave the jobinnserver faction to presumably say it in game.
May have to fire hot plug-in up and just go through the voices and see.

Was hoping there was a way in the CK to look at the voices and see what tracks they have recorded.

there's always the dialogue filter in the menu tab. its not the best, but at least you can narrow down voice types and such

Amethyst Deceiver:
Are you referring to the Player Dialugue tab on the Quest: DialogueGeneric view?
Unfortunately for that line of dialogue, the "Speaker NPC" and "Is Voice Type" cell is blank. But it gives me an idea - that I make the server a merchant with a faction limited to Inn food type - and it will be transparent to the player. Then I need to find what voices besides Nord Female can say "Drink for the thirsty, food for the hungry."

For anyone following this - I verified that the Shrill Female voice (which is not that shrill) will voice the "Depends, are you thirsty, hungry, both?" dialogue - but unfortunaltely will not play the follower dialogue.

So - I used the Eager Young Female voice (which was my first choice all along) and just made her jobmerchant faction with the merchantinn faction I made to only sell the food items.
She does voice "take a look" and does have th follower dialogue - so that is probably as close as I am going to come.

I got through Female Dark Elf, Unique Delphine, and Female Commander (Adrianna at Warmaiden) but they didn't have the innserver dialogue. Delphine doesn't have any dialogue in the general sense - she is probably only quest related.

Amethyst: Thanks - didn't know about that one!

Your take on things apears correct, shalani ... Sadly you can't get 100% what you want from the vanilla stuff

Beth's take on this is you should recorded your own voice for a new character, if you want that perfect world (which assumes you have, or know someone who has, the voice and the time to make your own VoiceType).

It's the downside to all-voiced dialogue ... back when it was text life was easy; now it is more-work to produce a mod that fits seemlessly into the game. Whether that's a good or a bad thing, I can't quite make up my mind?
