A few Destiny questions

Post » Wed Nov 06, 2013 6:30 pm

Hello everyone!

I wish to buy Bungie's new game, Destiny. Up until a few days ago I was sure I was going to get it, but now I might not. Here are my troubling questions:

  1. "Destiny must be connected to the internet to play multiplayer aswell as SOLO!?"

Why? I run my internet with DIAL-UP. :stare: What is holding you from playing the game content that exists on the actuall disc?

I know destiny is not even released yet, but any help you can offer is apreciated. Thanks. :icecream:

Btw if there is already a destiny thread lock this one.

Negative. It's an MMOish FPS. Think Defiance on a smaller scale. Towns and cities will be populated with other players while missions will be like Borderlands co-op.

So, I am not familliar with either of those games, but does that mean I cannot just walk around alone in the solarsystem smashing aliens?

Also, can someone explain solo if you cannot play solo?

I fell in love with destiny, and now it seems I will never be able to aqquire it. Guess it isn't for my kind. :nope: Thank you for the info. But, one last question. What do you think would happen if I bought the game, inserted it into my [insert console here] and tried to start playing?

If you can't play Destiny, you should try Borderlands. From what I have seen they are sort of similar.

Even some guy from Bungie had an interview about how they were greatly inspired by Borderlands.
