a few glitches : V

Hi,

I just started playing Skyrim via Steam. I've noticed a few problems:

1) Using a bow suddenly changes the pov.
2) settings -> controls often requires double or triple clicking
3) if you assign "activate" to the middle mouse you can read a book but cant seem to take it and the menu displays "press E to take book" clicking "E" on the screen does not work to let me take the book. So far I need to leave the default for activate in place to take books which is pretty annoying.
4) the starter mission and nearest town does not seem to have any alchemy tools meaning I need to keep collecting components for some time until I reveal which town might have starter alchemy gear.
5) on occasion I've destroyed or lost a body that may have loot. It's unclear which occurred - I hit the monster with two close range fireballs and the monster fell off a dais at the end of dungeon , never to be seen again.
6) when crouching in a dungeon, I've come across small holes I can not get into. once I just a few times I often get "stuck" and have to reload .

1) seems somehow to be my own mouse issue it seems to occur randomly in game
4) the answer to this became clear once I played some more. You need an alchemy lab -- they turned out to be all over the game.
5) this seems to be a problem with my ati card. All water int he game is black as pitch. Bodies are occluded until you get under water.
