Pretty new to Skyrim(It is the only ES game I have not played all the way through yet)and I had a few questions reguarding building a houe with the Hearthfire expansion.

1. Does choosing a side in the civil war effect what houses you can buy or whether you can keep your house(if it is technically purchased from a town who supports the opposite faction in the war)?

2. Can you have more then 1 home?

3. Can you choose which house your wife and kids go to?

1. No, the civil war has no effect on the Hearthfire houses.

2. Yes, you can purchase all 3 if you like.

3. Yes, just tell them which house to go to.
