Few Questions About The Game

Post » Thu Mar 11, 2010 3:31 am

How does the game scale on older hardware? I have a HD 4850 1GB, a Phenom II X2 555 Dual-Core @ 3.9GHz and 4GB DDR3.

Is the game optimized for multi-core support?
Are there any game breaking issues with the game as of this very moment?
I'll be spending majority of my time in the multiplayer, so how is the multiplayer holding up? Solid maps? Good number of game modes? Stat tracking? Persistence?

Basically, is this game worth the $60 Steam wants for it?

I'd hold off right now, at least until they get their **** together. You should be able to play it fine since it seems pretty well optimized.

But there are plenty of bugs and rampant cheaters online...if you can even connect that is.

Does Crysis 2 use Punk buster or VAC or any kind of anti-cheat software?

@ Foxibunneh

Yeah, i play this game with GTX460 and a C2Q Q9650 on Extreme with VSync! It looks very pretty and i have most of the time more than 35 FPS. Multisupport ist only for CPU...in this forum are many threads with Multi-GPU Bugs, but i think crytek, nvidia und ati will fix it in the next days! :)
The Multiplayer ist very nice and i play it in the first time more than 3-4 Hours! :) All people say there are cheaters, many bugs and so on but they are to blind. I have never see a cheater online only good players and that u lost your level and perks?! it is because the played unranked matches ...! The text says that u dont get any xp ... -.-'''
