So I recently bought hearthfire, built 2 houses in falkreath and hjaalmarch (No dialogue option for the pale in dawnstar?).

I asked my wife to move into the house in falkreath which she did. Adopted 2 children and the option to have them move into the house at hjaalmarch came up so I chose that. Then I went back and asked my wife to move to the house in hjaalmarch aswell.

I went back to hjaalmarch, waited 72 hours+ and alot more now, and my wife still hasn't shown up, nor is she still back at the house in falkreath, and the children I adopted even though I chose for them to move into the house at hjaalmarch, they both moved to falkreath instead. (Both homes are fully furnished with kids beds/chests etc).

So now I'm left with a wife that vanished and nowhere to be found, and 2 children in a home that I don't want.

Anyone know what happened and if you can ask your children to move or not?

Also I noticed if you ask your steward to follow you, you cannot re ask anyone else to become your steward for that house again.

Falkreath to Morthal is still pretty long.. Markarth and Solitude took a day.

It's been weeks now.

Weeks. Uh oh.

I found her back in whiterun, and I still have the options of asking her for gold/trade, moving in, she says she will pack her things but never comes.
