Hi. New to Rage. I have an HP with the following specs:

Win 7
Intel Core i7
Memory: 8gb
Video: ATI Radeon 6770M
Video RAM: 1gb

I have installed RAGE but it wont run. It fails as the first bethesda software screen is painting.

Following directions on the Steam support prompts, I ran the game files integrity check, and it says that 1 file is missing and needs to be reacquired, but cant get the game to run far enough in to generate the game file that is missing. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the game 3x, along with reinstall of Steam.

Is this a hardware issue, or is there something else I can do to get this game off the ground?
