What are the post civil war changes for joining the Imperials throughout Skyrim? I found the changes for joining the stormcloaks but have yet found the information for joining the Legion. I've been playing the game since its release and have yet taken a side. I dont mind any spoilers, i just want to know how skyrim is affected by it. Thanks ppl!

You should probably move this to the spoiler forum.

nothing but the jarls and the odd bit of dialog change during either side of the war (iirc), most people do not even seem to know it is over.

most people talk like Ulfric is alive even though he is dead. You can ask people their stance on the war. Most strongholds occupied by bandits are now controlled by imperials. Imperials winning is good for business in Whiterun. Bad for business in Windhelm. And same the otherway. The whiterun blacksmith complains that no one buys from her and instead buy from Grey-Mane at Skyforge if the stormcloaks win... odd little things like that. No significant differences really with one or the other winning. Though Elisif does have a party of outcast Jarls in her basemant if you side with the stormcloaks. While Ulfric's palace gets occupied with outcast Jarls if the Imperials win. They shouldn't complain. They could have ended up crammed into a basemant lol

Haha thats good stuff. I heard Windhelm gets partially destroyed by joining the imperials. Does Solitude get the same treatment from the stormcloaks??

either way, Whiterun looks the same after you defend it or take it over. I believe the Solitude Market has a toppled stand but thats about it. Windhelm being mostly stone survives without many scars if I recall correctly.

Whats weird is I successfully destroyed the attacking Stormcloaks on Whiterun. Even kept them from breaching the barricades. On the quest log successfully kept them from breacking the barricades, the bride, the gates and dragonreach. Yet somehow they still manage to destroy the center courtyard and the house of the Talos Priest... guess they have no love for their Talos priests and destroyed his house. I wonder if he switched to another of the divines lol
