I've taken the suggestions of some forum members into account, and produced this final time-lapse for tonight. :) I will make another one tomorrow, so be ready! ;)

Probably due to the increased timescale. If you set it to realtime and let it record 24 hours, they'd move just right.

That's exactly it. Another forum member said to use an increased timescale, so I tried that. Tomorrow I'll make a video of some waterfalls with the default timescale. I hope that goes well!
