So I finally got ACIII and I've made it up to the Paul Revere mission. I've pretty much been screwing around hunting and doing liberation missions in Boston and I'm starting to look at the crafting. It looks pretty cool and I'm eyeing the dual pistol harness item. The only thing keeping me from getting it is I cant buy Rosewood from my Stockpile because there is none. How do I unlock stuff like that?

Also I noticed that my artisans seem to have a level, how do I level them?

Also I bought the tool pouch expansion thingy from Uplay with some points I had acquired but I'm not seeing anything. Any other tips I should know about?

the various people you recruit into your homestead have their own missions. when you complete them you unlock more types of crafting resources and item recipes.

Note however, if you miss certain missions that are chapter specific, they are lost forever and you will never be able to get the fully upgraded homestead

Besides recruiting them I have not seen anything for missions. Will it show up on the map with the Homestead icon?
