I finally turned it off

It took longer than any other game I have played, but I finally turned off the music. The straw that broke the camels back was the constant immersion breaking arrival of battle music to let you annoyingly know that enemies are nearby. So much for any element of surprise.

Besides that, it just got repetative and old.

The music is sensational.

But I totally get why you'd want to maybe turn it off. However battle music only starts when actually in battle, which is a step up from Oblivion where you'd here the battle music if a mudcrab detected you 10 miles away.
