I found the manual before I got the quest... Now I'm stuck with the quest open.. It just wants to send me to the place whee I got it.. And since it's a quest item I can't drop it, put it on my book shelf, or put it back in the chest and reloot..... Annoying.

I have the same glitch but with a different book (souls light or dark as I recall). Mildly annoying but the resistance bug is far more annoying to me
