Yep, did so last night, although at the time the character was Imperial aligned, but he deserted to Ulfric. So, when I went to retake the land I got the Imperials in Season Unending I got chewed out a bit.

Yep, but your military leader will always complain about you when the time comes to reclaim the land you gave up to the other side on season unending (lol, ulfric was mad at my nord when I had to retake riften)
