Stormed the castle, killed the main vampire and that was it, all the dawnguard disappeared back to the fort, it's like the final fight didn't even happen, the only person who has even mentioned it is the blind priest, I mean how do I fix up the fort? And what about my room?

Also where's my werewolf perk tree? It's not appearing for me.

1. you cannot fix the fort. I hate it too. Its for both sides.
2. I wish there was more to the ending, too.
3. Go into Fort DG and go right up the stairs then go left two rooms and there it is, your room.
4. The perk tree is when you hit B in werewolf form.
5. Restart and play as Vampires.

Are you sure it doesn't get better looking as you do quests for them? Thieves guild style.

It does get better looking, fortifications are built, more members join, and other stuff.

So it's like TG where you have to do radiant quests until it gets better? How many?

Not radiant quests, progress in the main story. (There is alot of AMAZING radiant quests that are 10 times better then the companions though)

There are ALWAYS more side quests in skyrim. Always.
As for dawnguard specific ones, theres one that has to do with the book "http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/The_Aetherium_Wars". which I believe has a couple different endings, as well as radiant quests by faction members.

Agreed. People should really give the radiant quests a try.

But I finished the main missions and the fort still looks like crap, ate you talkin about side quests?

ya the ending seemed really anti climactic to me. it kinda pissed me off
