I′m finished with Bethseda

As title says, screw Bethseda. Selling a game to PS3 owners they knew were broken. PR disaster. Lack of information given to us eager gamers.

I′m serious, no matter how horny I am for playing future TES games and/or other bethseda games I′m DONE. [censored] the police.

Just a matter of time. Lots of good games out there. It's sad, really, because we want to love Skyrim. Oh well.

Fallout 3 DLC first appeared in January of 09. It did not come to the ps3 until the end of september 09. That was an eight month wait, and you give up after less then three?

Not really cause think of like this a hugh majority of ps3 gamers are coming form FO Beth treated us just as bad there as they are now so years of let down and it's now starting to break the ice.

If they had the same problems with FO then I don't understand why they didn't anticipate this and fix it before it got this far.

Yup I agree and that is way alot of PS3 users are even more pissed at them because they know full well of the problems but still don't bother to fix them.

You do realize we wouldn't act like this if we had the dlc. You're post could have easily read "I feel sorry for" xbox or PC users. That is the defining difference between us and everyone else.

If you want to get technical about it, we've waited almost as long for Skyrim DLC as PS3 owners had to wait for Fallout 3's. It's just that it's taken so much longer for Skyrim's DLC to actually be released. Fallout 3's was shoved out for the 360 quite quickly, which made the wait seem longer.

If we get into November 2012 without Dawngaurd or any other DLC (which wouldn't surprise me) we'll have waited longer than we had to for Fallout 3.

Because video game consumers have proven time and time again that they are ok with abuse. The same people who experience bugs/glitches/errors are the same ones clamoring for more DLC at the moment of release...

You would think that by now, people would grow a pair and have some principles instead of just forking over cash. Talk with your money people.

Sadly, the PS3 console platform and the gamers that play exclusively on it, historically speaking at least, has always been treated as "third class" by Bethesda. The DLCs for Fallout New Vegas after "Dead Money" were the exception, but sadly not the rule.

Microsoft will probably continue paying out for "timed exclusive" DLC contracts and publishers like Bethesda will continue taking the money. It's good for MS, good for Bethesda and good for the the gamers who own the Xbox 360 console, but not so good for PC players who have to wait out the timed exclusive and even worse for PS3 players.

Specifically in the case of the Dawnguard DLC as the Bethesda developers strive at making the Dawnguard DLC release for the PS3 stable and playable: Hopefully treating this issue as their highest priority. Though seeing that it's already past 1 month since the PC release and they have already moved on to developing and releasing the second Skyrim DLC Hearthfire for the Xbox 360, I seriously doubt it that it's their "highest" priority. It feels as if the PS3 platform is just an afterthought at best.

Of course a little communication from Bethesda with the PS3 Skyrim gamers/fans would go a long way. If making timely PS3 releases is not their "strong suit" at they very least, they can work on their public relations with the PS3 gamers. This is the age of communication and there's really no excuse for keeping us in the dark like this for over a month!!!

Anyway that's just my humble opinion...

(Disregard this post)

[curses] It won't let me joke...lame.

Well, I meant to say that Bethesda doesn't really care about one person who stops playing Skyrim. They already have your money....and millions of other people's. So what if you stop playing? Bethesda will keep going as long as they keep getting money from their products.

Whatever... your loss

Maybe you should think twice. Which coding is better? Xbox or ps3.

Ill choose ps3 cause it's a rip-off and it has harder coding

What are you even trying to say? You say his copy is trash then state it is "his loss?" If anything he can recoup a few bucks off a broken game. Yeah, it is his loss, but not in your sense.

Timed exclusives are not good for gamers. Period. How in the world does paying to keep DLC off the PS3 for a month benefit me, the 360 user? Its not like I want to pay 40-60$ a yr just for that BS. Not that I care because I dont buy DLC right away but if the DLC were to actually work on PS3 and arrive when it was planned, I'd say stop complaining. Its a month for Christ's sake... but seeing the current state of affairs, I'd be peeved.

Ultimately, it's part and parcel of cross-platform releases, and the situation is simply compounded by the side issue of generational console platforms. Because of contractural matters, Xbox would have seen the primary focus...not much anyone can do about that.

I sympathise with the PS3 folk, lord knows I've bought enough pc games and got shoddy products, in some cases totally unworkable ones (thanks to you Ubisofton) which are never fixed.

You know what would be hilarious, is if every Xbox user didn't buy any of the exclusive DLC until the exclusivity period was over. That would be hilarious because then Microsoft would have made the deal for nothing. Sadly that will never happen.
