So I bought my copy of TES:V last night off Steam, and thus far I have been able to play the game very smoothly on ~Medium settings.

My only issue is that fire from things like a Dragon's breath or the starter "Flames" spell quite simply do not show up. I can see the blurred effect of the heat waves that emanate from the source of the fire, but there is no actual fire itself. I have tried reinstalling the game, changing the settings to Ultra (took forever to get through the lag), updating my graphics drivers, all to no avail.

I am running:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.27 GHz
8GB RAM
Mobility Radeon HD 3870 x2
