Fire Resist Stack?

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 10:53 am

Sorry if this has been addressed, but I couldn't find it through searching.

To become even better at fighting dragons, mages, etc, I thought it would be a good plan to enchant 3 pieces of gear with Fire Resistance. (Shield, Boots, Necklace.) However, once I am wearing these items, in the Magic Menu under Active Effects, only one of those items seems to show up. The other items that should be contributing are not listed. Is it true that you cannot stack resistance in this way, or is it just a UI issue? Anyone know?

Thanks all!

In case anyone was wondering the same thing, I did sort of figure this out. The guide says that you can get up to 85% resistance of a particular element. Through testing against some dragons, I can say that the 85% figure would make sense based on how very little health I was losing from their breath attack.

So in conclusion, yes in you can stack resistance, (even if it doesn't show it) and it works up to 85%.
