First Dragon Encounter?

Post » Wed Jan 02, 2013 11:57 pm

I recently started playing Skyrim. I told the Jarl in Whiterun about the dragon, and he told Irileth to get some guards together and go kill it. However, I never saw her around the town and I was never asked to go with them, so I figured that was it. Then my friend told me that I was supposed to go help them and I get my first shout. So I don't know what to do now. I'm already level 7 and since I didn't fight the dragon I don't have a shout yet. Is there a way to go back and get the quest?

If Irileth isn't talking to guards near the main gate then you should be able to find her at the Western Watchtower, just outside of town.

They should be at the Tower, even if you waited to level 81.

Yeah as has been said they should be at the tower. If not its a bug and you should reload an earlier save.

Turn on your hud. (If you turned it off, It has ESWN)

Click on the main quest, and Follow the waypoint.

I am going out on a limb here but I am going to assume his HUD is on, unless turned off by mistake before he began the game...
