*SPOILER! SPOILER! SPOILER! SPOILER!*
Four hours into Skyrim, I run into my first Dragon.
It all started with a rumour, that a dragon was seen around Whiterun. Curious and excited, I accepted a quest to hunt down this dragon with a party. The party leader asked me to meet her at the Western Watch Tower. So, I headed over there only realize something was wrong. The watch tower was in ruins, and patches of fire can be seen around it. I quickly ran to the two survivors, but before I can ask anything, one of them yelled out, “IT WAS A DRAGON, AND IT’S STILL AROUND!”
I quickly backed up with Fear and excitement, and looked into the sky.
I didn’t see anything. I didn’t hear anything. The sky was clear.
But right after, I heard someone in the distances faintly yelled out “ITS BACK!”
All of sudden I hear this noise, what seem to be a giant bird flapping it wings, but it wasn’t a bird, it was a DRAGON!
As soon as I laid my eyes on this behemoth, it just started to spew out fire breath at the Watch Tower and its Archers. I withdrew my Iron Sword of Lightning in one hand and Ice Magic in the other. I’ve been waiting for this moment.

The Dragon was persistent to stay in flight. So I started to throw some Ice Shards at it, and with the help of NPC Archers, the dragon landed. I rushed over to it, only to get a face full of fire breath, and a HUGE hit to my HP. I quickly switched to my healing spell and recovered my HP, but by the time I was done the dragon took flight again. I switched back to my Ice Magic and started to throw more Ice shards at it. Eventually the dragon landed once more. Then I realized the dragon was low in health! I quickly switched out my Ice Magic to Spark, and my Lightning Sword to Steel Sword with enchanted Ice.
Running towards the Winged Beast, he opened his mouth and spewed out fire breath. I dodge its attack and countered it with Spark Magic, shocking the dragon. With my Enchanted Ice Sword, I ran around to his side and attacked his wings, then legs, and then head.
The dragon suddenly stopped moving. With the help of NPC archers and NPC party members, we KILLED IT! What seemed to feel like minutes only lasted a few seconds.

While the dragon flesh burned into ashes, something strange happened. I absorbed its soul! And unlocked a dragon shout!....what?
As the party members gathered around the bone remains of the dragons, one NPC tells me a tale of Dragonborns, Warriors born with the soul of a dragon. Gifted with the ability to read the Dragon language and use shout magic like the dragons.
Right there and then, I Knew my destiny. I was a Dragonborn. I know what I must do.
Not long after, while heading back to town, a haunting voice shouted throughout the land. I couldn’t make out what it said, but I knew it had something to do with me.
While turning in my quest to the King of Whiterun, he explained that the voices were “Greybeards”; ancient and honored people who dwell primarily in High Hrothgar, which is located on the highest mountain peak in Skyrim : the Throat of the World. As absolute masters of thu'um, or "the Voice." I was told to seek out these Greybeards, for they can train me in Voice Magic aka Dragon Shouts.
The Adventure of my Life in the land of Skyrim has only begun.
