My first elders scrolls game for PC

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 1:55 pm

Hi guys, I know for alot of people the PC is the ideal platform of choice due to the mod support and superior graphics, though after looking at recently high profiles such as modern warfare 3, the PC was not their main focus and as such hasn't recieved the same level as polish and features as the console version do.

My question is will Skyrim be the same, or will bethesda still stay true to their roots and support the PC version just as well? Mod tools, patches, performance, polish etc etc.

Thanks guys :) I can't wait to download it at midnight tonight! Go Friday booked off work!!!

To be fair, MW3 didn't improve much of anything on any platform.

To answer your question, we're expecting the same if not better support for the PC version this time around. We already have seen it confirmed that the mod tools and better graphics are there.

Bethesda typically wont abandon their roots. PC has always had some of the best support, if not tied with 360 (or xbox in Morrowinds case). PS3 didn't get the support it deserved for Oblivion (I recall one instance where a game breaking glitch that was fixed on 360 and PC was never fixed on PS3.)

Plus if it aint fixed officially theirs the un-official mod fixes that will come out, if your willing to play in that world.
