It is to Skyrim what Shivering Isles was to Oblivion. A fresh experience, you almost get that same feeling when you walk off the boat from when you first started Skyrim of "What should i do now? Where should i go?"

Also the new armours are freaking amazing!

I think this is the first time I've ever been on a dev forum, on day 1 of a release, and seen next to no criticism. I suppose some will say it has issues such as Dragon riding and spears, and a few other minor niggles, but if that's all we have to [censored] about, then Beth have well and truly delivered.

It sends out a clear message to the devs that this is the quality we expect each and every time they ask us to fork out £15-20.

Lots of us are quick to criticise beth when they don't deliver, myself included, so it's only fair i say well done when they do deliver the goods.

I have only been in Solstheim for a bried period but it looks amazing, there's obviously so much to see and do - way more than Dawnguard, new magic, shouts, armour, weapons - even enchantments. I can't wait to get back to it. Sleep is so over-rated.

Been playing it since 8am this morning. Only reason I'm not still having at it is because I have to go to work for the day.
So far, it's a lot of fun.

Amazing. Exceeded my expectations, thoroughly enjoying it and wouldn't be surprised if by the end I feel this dlc is on the same level as shivering isles.

First effect on me, literally slack-jawed amazement, could not believe it was for real. So, off to a good start I'd say. :)

Besides wordless arm flailing and squeeing?

Lemme put it this way. It feeds my Morrowind jones with Skyrim graphics.

Or:

OH YES! YES, BABY! *sips coffee*

Ahem. But yes. Like that.

I can't say enough as to how please I am as to content alone... With initial release, Hearthfire and this, I'm $85 in and couldn't be happier. One thing I can truly appreciate is that it's brought new life into a character I've had since 11/11/11... I still find Skyrim itself enjoyable and this DLC adds so much more to explore and collect... Considering a "sick day"

I started playing last night and only stopped when I noticed the sun had come up, meaning I should probably get a few hours sleep.

I took a character that was already well under way into Skyrim's MQ, which I kinda regret, but that's my own fault. :P

Yes but i must say compared to the landsize of S.I. Solstheim at least the Solstheim of the 4 era is not near as big as S.I. was . And even in Bloodmoon Solstheim did appear bigger than in Dragonborn, but... i must say i really enjoy this dlc so far, i've you ever played and liked Morrowind you will have goosebumps when you arrive to Raven Rock the first time with the ship and you hear the lovely Morrowind theme.. ah bitter sweet nostalgia.

The main Quests so far are awesome .. most of them.
Spoiler
especially when you visit Apocrypha, the first thing i had on my mind when i saw this freaking awesome realm was "man straight from a H.P. Lovecraft Nightmare" i love it there i wish we could get a freaking necromage/Wizard Tower there with a Huge library after all the books i collected so far in Apocrypha i really need a new library.

Been playing it for a good solid 7 hours.
It is amazing so much to do so many places and people to interact with. A real good trip down memory lane as well seeing all the old morrowind houses. But I think the best surprise so far was the music :D
All in all this is shaping up to be one of the best dlc I have seen in a long time for any game. And still looks like I have loads to do even after an intensive session and that includes main quest.
