Completely agree. This I find so aggravating and breaks immersion for me. That was one thing that was so exciting for me in Bloodmoon was being able to see through the eyes of a werewolf, but Skyrim seemed to have changed it for me.
I am also looking forward to a werewolf overhaul as well, of course including first person view with proper animations, a way to get the disease WITHOUT a quest through bites or werewolf encounters (or is it like that already? Don't know, haven't ran into any wild werewolves yet...) And of course having to change into the werewolf form when Messar is in it's full moon stage at night for 3 days in a row. I hate how Bethesda completely changed the werewolf transformation every-night aspect from Bloodmoon and into the Underworld movie's theme where you can change ANYTIME you merrily feel like it and have no penalty regarding being a werewolf other than the weakness to silver and getting caught in the actual transformation.
It needs to be that you can't change anytime you want until you have reached a certain milestone after the disease disease settled in for a while (could just be after the first 3 full moons or at least after the first.) And each full moon there would be a 3 day time perion in which you will have to feed once every night less be stripped of your "change at will" ability and be a little weaker till the next fullmoon. The same rules for morrowind would apply, as in if you don't feed on a change night then you will be weaker the next until the 3 days are over, which then if you don't feed at least once during those 3 days then you won't be able to change into your werewolf form at will till next full moon in which you will at least have to feed at least once to be able to transform when you want to again..
Basically I turned your thread into a double request, sorry, lol.
