Floating hair glitch

Post » Mon May 28, 2012 12:26 pm

After using the console command 'set timescale to 10' I have experienced a strange glitch in which the hair of a moving NPC (Occurs when dragging corpses as well) will float around near their head. As I have never had this problem before I would assume the console command is to blame, though I have had no luck fixing this glitch even after setting timescale back to 20 (default), reloading an earlier save, and reinstalling Skyrim.
Here are some pictures of the glitch for reference:

Bump
Here is another screenshot: http://steamcommunity.com/id/76561198042323828/screenshot/594707027349678786, this specific save was kept outside my saves folder so I am still at a loss to what is causing this issue even after a complete reinstall of Skyrim and the deletion of its ini files.

I used to have the floating hair glitch, now I have the "lost of people are suddenly bald" glitch.

Maybe the hair floated completely away.

I don't *know* if this is actually associated with the timescale command, as I've had it when I did and didn't use the command (and on characters I never used the command with).

So you never managed to fix the glitch?

No. I guess I was just helping confirm it was happening to others.

I think it's on the Unofficial Buglist thread.

Also I'm not sure it relates to timescale, that may have just been "lucky timing."

It's hard to nail down the specific cause, whether it's a "textures" issue or a "physics" issue.
