Is Follow Chalk, Daniel and Joshua gone after finish DLC?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 12:06 am

I told Follow Chalk to go out for adventure, and helped Joshua crush White Leg. After I finished DLC, I cannot find Follow Chalk, Daniel and Joshua.

Are they gone? Or they just move around in Zion?

Why? I did not evacuated them.

I still saw Sorrow and Dead Horse around.

If you choose Joshua's ending, both tribes remain in the valley. However, no named character ever appears again. Even if you choose the option to encourage Follows-Chalk to seek out adventure and civilization you won't see hm again, either.

If you choose to relocate the Sorrows, as I understand it, you will see no humans again in the park.

I'm guessing it's for the following reasons:

- The Dead Horses don't actually live there. They were brought there by Graham to help with the issue. Thus, some of them (Follows-Chalk) return back home after it's done.
-Daniel probably gives up on the tribe
-Joshua Graham is probably leading a crusade to kill off more raiders
-No idea why the named Sorrows are gone. Perhaps they're on the crusade too?

The actual reason you don't see any naned characters is that the devs would have needed to record some post-conclusion dialogue that would cover various outcomes. And they didn't do that. The unfortunate thing is that by making Graham the only merchant, the area is now devoid of one. All you can really do is go exploring, but I guess that's better then DM's total cutoff.

In my savefile the Sorrows and Dead Horses are still present in their camps. Joshua Graham, Daniel, Follows-Chalk and Waking Cloud are gone though. I sided with Joshua and crushed the White Legs. And, according to the endings, it would be weird if the Sorrows were gone with Joshua's path. The Sorrows and Dead Horses are both gone if you side with Daniel.

Yeah it svcks how you can't see no named people around no more. At the most all you see are hunter, so I guess you help them kill for food if you really wanted to.
