Followed the Nvidia tweek guide...

....and now Skyrim doesn't use my GPU. Instead, it uses Intel's integrated graphics or whatever it is. Performance is terrible. I've reset everything I did with Nvidia Inspector. I've used the Nvidia Control Panel. Nothing works.

Does anyone know something that I can do to make Skyrim go back to using my GPU?

Turn you integrated graphics off in the BIOS..........However I could be horribly wrong and that could achieve nothing.

IDK what BIOS is. I'm a PC noob. I did turn off integrated graphics with the device manager. My screen went black. That was scary. lulz

When your start your computer it'll flash to a screen for just a second or two saying something like press "delete" to enter setup it'll probably be different for you. Then from there you'll have to navigate on your own look for an area dealing with display or GPU and in there should be an option to turn your Integrated chipset on or off.

It's not as intimidating as it sounds.

Couldn't find any such option. I still appreciate your help, though.

I deleted and then re-installed Skyrim. This made Skyrim use my GPU....until I activated some mods. Now it's back to using itegrated graphics.

I'll have to delete and re-install again, then activate mods one by one so I can determine which one is causing the problem.
