I was using the follower Belrand, Well I decided to dismiss him while I work on the other homes. Well I dismissed him inside of Lakeview Manor (Falkreth). After I was done with the other houses I went back to solitude to the winking skeever. He was nowhere to be found. I waited for days inside and outside of solitude. He never showed up there again. I don't know if this has anything to do with the hearthfire DLC. But I caution who you dismiss inside of one of your homes.

I also noticed I can't use Serena as a Follower anymore. I have checked the other dawnguard members, other followers and I can use them just fine. As stated before I don't know if this has anything to do with the hearthfire DLC.
