I receive my housecarl from Falkreath and wanted to make her the steward. I already had Jereema (sp?) as a follower (and I use Better Followers mod). I took them both back to Lakeview and asked the housecarl to be my steward. She agreed, I got a notice that my follower has left me service and she walked outside. Apparently this meant both followers left my services. When I approached the now-steward, her conversations are the same as a followers and while I rehired Jereema and she responds as a followerer, she won't follow me.

Any suggestions on how I should do this?

Get rid of the mod and go back to a save game before you chose your steward and try again?

Yeah, I kind of figure that's what I'll be doing. Hate to lose the extras and I'll have to rehire my follower.
