I know u have to use wabbajack to get ur follower to match ur level, but the elder scrolls wiki says thats only prior to 1.6. So now do followers level up with u automatically or do i need to get a wabbajack?

Followers have always leveled up with you. Their level progression is slower than yours, however.

All of them level up to 50 except J'zargo, he goes all the way to 80.

The bug that caused followers to stay at the level they were when you meant them was fixed in 1.6.

They're actual LEVEL leveled with you, but their Stats/Skills were locked the first time you met them. Which is why the Wabbajack was required to fix them.

Some cap at 30, some at 40, a few even at 25 or 20. Mercenaries level to 40, the Circle, housecarls and a couple more (Cicero?) to 50.
