I have no idea about PC version but in XBOX version there is no footsteps on snow or dust... Kinda weird, I would expect these little details like in RDR...

I noticed that too. A bit disappointing, but really; I hardly notice it in games that do have it. Except in MGS1 where at the beginning the guards could see your footprints and follow them.

I sometimes don't really notice the small details in games.
Which is sometimes good and sometimes bad.

Yeah, you are right too. Bethesda with its $36 millon dollars could not put somthing as basic as footsteps into the game. They manage to fit in finishing moves though.

Yep. It's pretty much the worst thing to ever happen ever. Totally not overreacting. You shouldn't even sell your copy of Skyrim, you should burn it. Unless you bought it through Steam. Then you should burn your computer to remove the taint of this horrible footstep deprived game.

I noticed the lack of foot prints as soon as I got out of the intro, too.

Maybe there'd be too many foot prints given how many things are walking around in the snow? Would be a nice addition, actually.
