No, this is NOT another "Imperial VS Stormcloak" thread.

Just a question for all the loyal Stormcloak supporters: Why do you support the Stormcloaks?

A better question though: Do you support the Stormcloaks, or Ulfric?


I myself use to be a supporter of the Stormcloaks, cause it just seemed right. Here's my initial reasons for joining the Stormcloaks
--The Legion was about to chop off my head.
--I liked Ralof, and he was a Stormcloak.
--I like Nords.
--I like Stormcloak Cuirass armor.

After I fought a bit for the Stormcloaks, I began to agree with them more. They were fighting for their beliefs, and out of anger. Thousands of Nords DIED fighting for the Empire - and then the Empire outlawed the worship of their most reverred God, Talos? They have every reason to fight against the Empire!

But then I discovered how Ulfric himself war. It was only obvious he was out for the position of High King, and he was only using the 'outlaw of Talos' as a gateway to gain supporters.

I support the Empire solely because Ulfric is a no-good, power-hungry, Thalmor-asset. While I do believe in and support what the Stormcloaks are fighting for, they're fighting under the wrong leader.

So why exactly do you support the Stormcloaks?

Personally I support the Stormcloaks and upholding Nord tradition. BUT I can't stand Ulfric. I think there are better Nords for the position of High King. Ones that are true nords, but aren't racist dbags.

My character supports stormcloaks becouse he is a pro-nord.
And it just fits my character,I have mixed feelings about the war myself. But for my character,he is a stormcloak soldier. And yes,ulfric wants to be high king. I think it fits him.
